Full Parenting Teens Workshop (4 sessions)

1. Parenting Teens Workshop is an online practical, solution-focused tool kit that offers:

  • Support to parents and adults taking care of teenagers (13 to 19 years),
  • Expose parents and adults parenting teenagers (13 to 19 years) parenting skills that simplify their parenting journey.


2. The Four Parenting Teens Sessions will cover topics ranging but not limited to - Effective vs Ineffective parenting;

  • The four critical parenting cornerstones;
  • Communicating for resolution steps;
  • The teenager’s two existential dilemmas.


3. Who will benefit from the Parenting Teens Workshop:

  • Parents and caregivers whose teenagers are not responding positively to their parenting effort;
  • Parents and caregivers who wish to improve a parenting approach that is delivering satisfactorily results.
  • Parents and caregivers whose teenage children who were admitted at any Akeso Adolescent Ward (YAP).

 

Parenting Teens Workshop Dates:

Module One: Online
Saturday (09h00 -13h30)

Module Two: Online
Sunday (09h00 -13h30)

Module Three: Online
Saturday (09h00 -13h30)

Module Four: Online
Sunday (09h00 -13h30)


Workshop Costs:

Four sessions = R2 600 (R650 per session)
Early bird special rate of R2 200


Payment method:

1. EFT Deposit
2. Medical Aid (min levy may apply where applicable)

The workshop cost R550 per session (4,5 hours per saturday) by taking advantage of the early bird special.
Medical aids will cover R314 per session.
Four saturdays (18 hours) will cost a parent R1 144 if the balance is settled by the medical aid.
